Sunday School
Training up the
Next Generation
The future of the church is based on the spiritual, moral and social standards of the present growing generation. The purpose of Sunday school is to extend a supporting hand for the spiritual growth of the children. Christian education through Sunday school is important for the spiritual nurturing of the child. Children learn Bible stories and Biblical values in Sunday school. It also gives them the opportunity to develop their skills and talents for the Lord.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and
when he is old, he will not depart from it”
PROVERBS 22:6
As a Sunday School, we’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings. The first Sunday School of IPC EBENEZER, Dubai began on 10th February 1989 with a few students and teachers on a Friday morning at the Parsonage near clock tower Dubai. It grew in number over the decades and today, by the grace of God and by the valuable prayers and support of our pastor and church believers, God has blessed our Sunday School with over 50 students and 12 teachers administered by a Head Master and a Patron.
The Sunday School has enabled children to know the Lord personally in their lives and led them to follow the commandment of the Lord through water baptism and surrender their lives into the hands of the Lord as they progress in life and move onwards into responsible citizens of the world. It is worth mentioning the fact that some of our students are currently pastoring churches in different parts of the world.

PYPA
The Pentecostal Young People's Association (PYPA), the youth wing of IPC, was founded in 1947 by a group of Pentecostal college students from U.C. College, Alwaye and University College, Trivandrum.

Their association was influenced by the various cultural and social activities taking place around the state where the Pentecostal students would potentially go astray. It was the need of the hour for these students to be associated with the development of social, cultural, and spiritual development of Pentecostal youth. This created ripples throughout the campuses of Kerala and subsequently in midst of the Indian Pentecostal community across the world.
All born-again youths can become members of this organization guided by this motto. It also implicates the ultimate purpose of spreading the Gospel across the world through our service.
More than just using our talents
Our service is not limited to using our talents, but leaping over the boundaries with love and care that soothes the downtrodden on all fronts. Our conviction of service acts as a medium to join in hands with other Pentecostal youth organizations for His kingdom's cause.
